The Stanley Hotel has stunning grounds and a rich history, making it a captivating place to stay. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the unique ghost tour was a highlight, our overall experience was marred by uncomfortable beds and some disappointing service issues. Additionally, the noise from other guests and the lack of attention to room assignments detracted from our stay, especially given the premium price we paid.

My stay at The Stanley Hotel was quite the experience. The atmosphere is steeped in history, which adds a unique charm, but the service and room comfort left a lot to be desired. The price felt steep for what we got, especially with a few maintenance issues in our room. While the views and historical significance of the place are a plus, the overall execution seemed lacking.

Our room was cozy, yet extremely small - almost like a walk-in closet. For the price we paid, I expected more, especially staying at such a notable hotel.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the ambiance and charm of the historic setting were captivating, I faced several challenges with noise from events and service issues that detracted from the experience. The dining options were quite pleasant, making it a highlight. Overall, it's a place with potential, but improvements are definitely needed for a better stay.

Rooms

The layout of the room was a bit strange, with the bathroom right at the entrance and the bedroom area farther in. It did feel antique but lacked modern conveniences like USB ports.
Service

The service was unfortunately lacking, with some staff seeming overwhelmed and unable to provide timely assistance. At times, it felt like they were spread too thin to accommodate all guests during busy hours.
Location

The hotel's location was convenient for accessing local amenities and attractions, enhancing my overall experience even if the hotel itself fell short in some areas.
Dining

Dining at the on-site restaurant was a pleasant experience with good food, definitely one of the better parts of my stay.
Facilities

The facilities could use some updates, especially considering the noise issues from events held nearby that disrupted a restful environment.

The dining experience was fine, but the service left a lot to be desired. Overall, it felt like a beautiful landmark, but its age showed, especially in the room conditions.
